SUCCESSFUL MISSION: 17 SATELLITES DESIGNED BY SPUTNIX SEPARATED IN ORBIT FROM 5 AEROSPACE DEPLOYERS

On February 29, 2024, at 08:43 Moscow time, the launch of the Soyuz-2.1b rocket with the Fregat upper stage was carried out from the Vostochny Cosmodrome. As part of the mission to launch the Meteor-M No.2-4 satellite, a secondary payload of 18 spacecraft was also injected into orbit. The mission is operated by the State Space Corporation Roscosmos and Glavkosmos (part of Roscosmos), which is the main works integrator in launching rideshare payload and a launch service provider.

For the adaptation, launch, and separation of 17 Cubesat satellites, the Aerospace Capital team designed 5 launch deployers: 4 deployers of the 4x3U format and 1 deployer of the 1x12U format. All 17 Cubesat satellites developed by SPUTNIX (part of Sitronics Group) were successfully separated in orbit and taken under control, namely:

  • 16x3U Cubesat SC of the "SITRO-AIS" series;
  • 1x12U Cubesat SC "ZORKIY-2M №2";

Since 2021, with the use of 20 deployers designed by Aerospace, 71 satellites have been successfully put in orbit! We express our gratitude to Glavkosmos JSC and their contractors - enterprises of the Russian space industry - for the successful launch! We also thank our customers and congratulate all the participants of the Soyuz-2.1b/Fregat mission, carried out on February 29, 2024!

Today's launch became the first from the Vostochny Cosmodrome in 2024! See you soon, Vostochny!
