CUBESAT INTEGRATION DURING THE FIRST LAUNCH CAMPAIGN

In February 2021, CubeSats were integrated into the Aerospace Capital’s deployers. In March 2021, Soyuz-2 LV with the Fregat upper stage will orbit two12U (4x3U and 2x3U + 6U) deployers which will separate 9 CubeSats.

THE 12U (4X3U) DEPLOYER IS INTEGRATED WITH:

Two 3U CubeSats (LACUNASAT2-B AND 3B5GSAT) manufactured by Open Cosmos (UK) for Sateliot and Lacuna Space. SC mission – IoT services.

Open Cosmos’s spacecraft, United Kingdom
Aerospace Capital’s 12U (4x3U) deployer, Russian Federation
TELNET spacecraft, Tunisia

3U CubeSat Challenge One is an “Internet of Things” satellite, includes an innovative communication technology developed in TELNET facilities by Tunisian expertise. This Tunisian Satellite launch will be the basis for the creation of a new space ecosystem for Tunisia and its region.

THREE 1U CUBESATS BUILT BY FOREIGN UNIVERSITIES UNDER INTERNATIONAL PROJECTS:

Spacecraft of Sapienza University of Rome, Italy

1U CubeSat WILDTRACKCUBE-SIMBA by Sapienza University of Rome, Italy. Students of the University of Rome, together with research teams from the universities of Tel Aviv (Israel) and Nairobi (Kenya), will test an innovative system for tracking animal behavior in Kenya National Park in their natural habitat. Special sensors will be placed on the animals. The CubeSat will be used to collect and transmit information on the migration of animals.

Spacecraft of Košice University , Slovakia

1U CubeSat GRBAlpha built by the University of Košice (Slovakia) and students from Bratislava, Hungary and Japan will be the first SC in the CAMELOT satellite constellation for the research of gamma rays.

1U KSU_CUBESAT 1U KSU_CUBESAT built by the College of engineering (COE) at King Saud University, Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. KSU_Cubesat will transmit telemetry data and photos from the space to the ground station.

THE 12U (2X3U+6U) DEPLOYER IS INTEGRATED WITH:

3 Russian spacecraft built under the Roscosmos program, Innovation Promotion Foundation and Talent and Success Foundation – Planet Watch (Space π project):

Spacecraft by Sputnix, Russian Federation

6U CubeSat ORBICRAFT-ZORKY built by Sputnix (Russian Federation), is a modern ultra-compact Earth remote sensing satellite. The spacecraft is equipped with a high resolution (up to 6.6 m) professional telescope camera. The spacecraft is designed to test technical parameters and to become the basis for a series of modern Russian nanosatellites. After the initial testing, the spacecraft will start regular remote sensing.

Students’ CUBESX-HSE and CUBESX-SIRIUS-HSE SPACECRAFT, Russian Federation

3U CUBESX-SIRIUS-HSE 3U CUBESX-SIRIUS-HSE is designed and built by joint efforts of NIU HSE MIEM, Sirius Educational Center and SPUTNIX. The spacecraft is equipped with an Earth remote sensing camera and high data rate X-band transmitter.

All CubeSats are installed in Aerospace Capital’s deployers. Satellite RBF elements have been removed, positions of the spacecraft separation switch elements have been checked, the satellites are fully locked in their slots with the required quality. Spacecraft are ready for launch.

Aerospace Capital LLC is a private Russian company, designer of separation systems for microsatellites and Cubesat spacecraft
